Abstract

The process of data transferring in a wireless networks operate using the distributed coordination function (DCF) is considered in this paper. As a result it was proposed a formula for the calculation of the capacity of the wireless channel functioning on actual operating conditions by using of the revised ratios for the probability of collisions and the probability of successful transmission of the data frame.
