Abstract

The possibility of increasing of the distributed gain in the auto-phase traveling wave tube by means of the optimal phase velocity profiling in the slow-wave circuit under the most available efficiency values is investigated. Optimization of the distributed gain is performed within the frames of the simplified analytical nonlinear theory using variation method
