Abstract

In this paper a least mean square based adaptive algorithm for removing single frequency interference is analyzed. The possibility of using this algorithm to filtering 50 Hz line noise in the electrocardiographic signals (ECS) processing is checked. The comparison of the algorithm with classical digital filters is made. Modeling is carried out in the MATLAB. The results support the possibility to use considered algorithm for ECS preprocessing.
