Abstract

Theoretical researches of local Eddy Current Probe sensitivity to gap variance were carried out. Such information parameters of signal as phase, amplitude, delay time, that is, parameters of Eddy Current Probe, which influence on mentioned signal parameters: figure of merit, phase, response time are carried out. It is demonstrated how sensitivity to gap variance of local Eddy Current Probe depends on control object radius and on gap between object and probe. The researches have shown that it is necessary to choose measured parameter of signal correctly, when designing Eddy Current device for ultrasonic mechanical amplitude oscillation measurement.
