Analysis of the quantum cascade laser gain
Main Article Content
Abstract
A mathematical model of the quantum cascade structure was proposed for analyze the characteristics of the laser in the terahertz frequency range. Oscillation frequency and amplitude-frequency characteristics of the two promising superlattice laser heterostructures were designed by the developed model. The possibility of optimizing the structure and characteristics of the quantum cascade laser (QCL) by selecting the geometrical and electrical parameters is demonstratel.
